A collaboration concert between Lassenne Vocale (Brussels-Belgium) and ProyectoeLe (Seville-Spain) Northern Light, Southern Flame brings together the Brussels-based choir Lassenne Vocale and Seville’s ProyectoeLe in a celebration of contemporary and twentieth-century choral music from across Europe. Conducted by Ivan Yohan and Carlos Cansino, the two ensembles explore contrasting yet complementary musical worlds, from the atmospheric soundscapes of Diederik van der Laag, Eric Whitacre, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Jevgeņijs Ustinkovs, and Michael John Trotta to the spiritual depth and vibrant colors of Herbert Howells, Veljo Tormis, Colin Mawby, and Bernat Vivancos. The concert culminates in a joint performance of works by Carlos Cansino and Ivan Yohan, creating a musical dialogue between northern serenity and southern passion. Free admission (no reservation required). A suggested donation of €10–15 will help support the organization of this concert and future projects. Any contribution, large or small, is sincerely appreciated.
