During this workshop, Kaat will introduce you to Visible Mending, a sustainable way of repairing clothes and textiles in During this workshop, Kaat will introduce you to Visible Mending, a sustainable way of repairing clothes and textiles in a decorative way. You’ll be working on a garment or piece of fabric (e.g. a kitchen towel or tote bag) that you’ve brought along yourself and which could do with some mending. Kaat will start the session by providing some background information, demonstrate various mending techniques and then work with you to decide which technique is best suited to your project. The focus is on relaxation and the satisfaction of seeing your own results.
