Un geste transgressif ouvre la saison 26.27 de Charleroi danse à La Raffinerie : la création d’une porte ! Un passage discret reliera la salle Polyvalente — lieu mythique des soirées cabarets, des Fancy Legs, du Plan K — à la cour de Cassonade, un speak easy social et solidaire porté par Alwakan. Dans cette brèche spatiale s’invente une vie nocturne élargie, où pratiques artistiques et dynamiques communautaires se rencontrent pour reconfigurer les usages de l’institution. The Multipurpose hall will have its own entrance into the Cassonade courtyard, a social speak-easy for solidarity, created by Alwakan. Within this spatial breach, a broader form of nightlife is being invented, where community-based artistic and dynamic practices come together to reconfigure the conventions of the institution. Vestiaire will develop from late August to December, with a clubbing schedule put in the hands of guest artists.
