Hip-hop artist Black Milk has previously collaborated with artists including Danny Brown, Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshir Black Milk has been one of the most influential and versatile figures in American hip-hop for more than twenty years. The Detroit rapper, producer and multi-instrumentalist has worked with Slum Village, Danny Brown, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Earl Sweatshirt and Jack White, with whom he released two singles. He first made a name for himself as a teenager, producing tracks for Slum Village before becoming a key architect of Detroit’s 2000s sound. Since then, he has released nine solo albums, several beat tapes and numerous collaborative projects. His latest album, Ceremonial, was released this spring. What began as a love for soul samples evolved into a musical universe where funk, soul, jazz, psych rock, gospel, electronic music and hip-hop collide. Black Milk is equally renowned on stage. After touring across North America, Europe, Australia and Japan, he has earned a reputation as one of hip-hop’s most acclaimed live performers.
