Women made invisible within the informal sector, often facing precarity and persistent forms of domination and social injustice. Led by the Belgian NGO Echos Communication, the project strengthens women’s autonomy through awareness of their rights, training workshops and local trade union networks. It helps them gain independence, defend their rights and access safer and fairer working conditions. The exhibition highlights lives often lived in the shadows, even though these women contribute every day to households, living environments and the social fabric.
