Five performers and an actor-musician seek together a momentum that would never fade, a suspension that would evade the end. Driven by a powerful desire for the moment, Le Margherite composes, amidst deviations and metamorphoses, a playful and sensitive ode to transience, where ineffectiveness is brandished as a form of resistance, a way of thwarting finitude. On stage, a space emerges that feels as though it is ‘walking a tightrope' : between lightness and intensity, their movements and trajectories oscillate between the temptation of an abyss – that of our violent current events and the consumption of our lives – and the necessity of a suspension, conceived as both desire and a new beginning. Like a daisy from which the petals are gradually plucked, they play upon this intensity of chance, affirming together and before us a poetics of chance as much as of eternity. To desire, to love, to act and to begin thus become variations on a single gesture, the affirmation of a vital movement that has not yet finished writing itself.
