Women's Circle - Anne Pajunen

During these gatherings, we share stories about womanhood, practice a movement meditation, and work together on a collec Het Huys and Anne Pajunen invite women to these gatherings to come together to share experiences and stories in a space of connection, creativity, and solidarity. Each gathering opens with an introduction offering a soft entry point into conversation, rooted in shared and personal experiences of womanhood. This is followed by a movement meditation inviting embodied presence and attunement. We then begin knitting, with the intention of creating a collective knitwork over the course of the year, a living archive of our stories, both personal and shared. Multilingualism is fully embraced, and support for communication in EN/FR/NL is available. Free / Dates: 26/4, 17/5, 7/6, 6/9, 18/10, 6/12 at 14:00 – 17:00 Regular participation is encouraged, and some basic knowledge of knitting is recommended. During the summer, we will take a break, and the gatherings will continue in the autumn. Theatre and dance artist Anne Pajunen works in studio residency at Het Huys, developing her artistic research on Embodied Storytelling. By weaving together writing, movement and voice, she explores how personal stories are also shaped by the social and cultural world we live in.
