Balkan Trafik!

From 19 to 21 November 2026, Balkan Trafik! makes its long-awaited return to Brussels after a one-year break. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the festival is reinventing itself and, for the first time, taking over all the spaces of the Brussels Stock Exchange. The festival will transform this iconic venue into a true indoor festival, featuring two main stages, a Balkan Village, music lounges, meeting areas and an experience designed throughout the entire building. True to its mission of building bridges between Belgium and the Balkans, Balkan Trafik! will present a programme that challenges stereotypes: from Roma brass bands to electronic beats, from centuries-old polyphonies to emerging electro scenes, from gypsy punk to gypsy jazz, as well as Balkan food and wines. This anniversary edition marks a turning point for one of Brussels’ most distinctive festivals: more intimate, more immersive and deliberately limited in capacity.
