Leonardo 4 Children 2026 Award ceremony and concert “Music from movies”

Celebrate the winners of the Leonardo 4 Children 2026 Awards with an inspiring evening of music and creativity. The ceremony recognises children, young people, teachers and young composers who have created original projects on Climate, Equality & Peace, followed by the concert Music from Movies featuring internationally renowned artists. The annual Leonardo 4 Children 2026 Awards ceremony & concert celebrates the creativity and achievements of children, teenagers, teachers and young composers who participated in the Leonardo 4 Children 2026 Awards, creating original projects using Art & Science skills on the themes of Climate, Equality & Peace. This year's edition welcomed a record more than 1,370 children and young people from 19 countries, bringing the total since 2019 to over 5,635 participants in the Awards and more than 28,000 participants in events and workshops. Through this hands-on approach to civic education, the initiative empowers younger generations to become active changemakers and the new Leonardos of the 21st century. During the Awards ceremony, the audience will enjoy concerts on the theme of "Music from movies", featuring internationally acclaimed musicians including Augustin Dumay, Anastasiya Petryshak, the Kundera String Quartet, Erika Zoi, Bruno Ispiola, Laurent Beeckmans, Olga Artemenko and Anastasia Varga. The non-profit event has received the patronage of UNESCO, the European Parliament, the European Committee of the Regions, the European Economic and Social Committee, the Embassy of Italy to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Italian Institute of Culture in Brussels, with the support of AXA and Vitruvya. The net funds raised will be allocated to support STEAM-focused educational workshops for children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 at “Punti Luce” day centres set up by Save the Children to tackle educational poverty in underserved communities across Italy.
