Every Monday, La Tricoterie opens its stage to you! This season, there are two changes: We’ll be hosting all-female open mic nights once a month (check the calendar)! And the open mic schedule will be slightly shortened to make room for the jam session! In fact, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., the open mic will be in full swing! You’ll be in the spotlight, in front of a supportive audience eager to hear whatever you want to perform—whether it’s French chanson, funk, classical, rap, or even good old garage rock, you’re welcome here! There’s just one rule: play “live” (no backing tracks with added vocals)! If you’d like to try your hand at a short act, a poem, a performance, or a magic trick—why not?—the stage is yours too! Here’s how it works: the lineup, divided into 15-minute slots, is only available on the day of the event starting at 7 p.m. (no advance registration by email or phone!), so come as early as possible to sign up (there are only 8 slots available!), then watch the other artists while enjoying a drink, before taking the stage yourself! Starting at 10 p.m., the jam session begins! Any musician or singer is welcome to share the stage with others! Listening to one another is the key element that makes the musical magic happen… See you soon!
