Free entry. On the occasion of the Ixelles Artists' Trail, step inside the SELOSSE ART studio and discover "Corps & Mouvement", an immersive exhibition-performance by Jérôme Selosse. The exhibition: A quest for raw emotion A Brussels-based expressionist painter active for over fifteen years, Jérôme Selosse develops an instinctive and visceral style of painting. His work explores the body, gesture, and movement through the material itself. During this event, you can admire his expressionist portraits (of literary figures such as Rimbaud, Baudelaire, Kafka, or Schiele) as well as his canvases vibrant with energy. The performance: A participatory action-painting workshop Each day, the artist invites you to become a part of the creative process. Under his guidance, participate in the creation of a monumental collective artwork (one 2 x 3 m canvas per day). In the spirit of action painting, leave your gestures, colours, and textures to bring to life a collaborative work that evolves with every visitor's touch.
