Every two years, Brussels' Grand Place is adorned with hundreds of thousands of flowers to showcase a massive floral display. A sound and light show will illuminate the Grand-Place every evening from 9 to 11 p.m. (every 30 minutes). The CMT welcomes you daily with refreshing cocktails and the best summer tunes to celebrate the occasion—whether you are starting your visit or wrapping up your tour. This year marks the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Belgium and Japan. The Grand-Place flower display will feature a reinterpretation of Hokusai’s "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by artist Hiro Sugiyama, created using 500,000 dahlias. However, there is a new addition to the program: a second flower carpet will be installed at the Bourse, inspired by hops—a symbol of Belgium's brewing heritage. A sound and light show will illuminate the Grand-Place every evening from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. (every 30 minutes).
