A film screening by Julian Charrière, Anne Marie Maes’s closing performance of Sensorial Skins, an artist talk with Nicolas Faubert and Hideyuki Ishibashi, and a live performance by Nicolas Faubert. The evening continues with DJ sets and drinks. A closing afternoon and evening of our current exhibition. The program begins with a screening of the film An Invitation to Disappear by Julian Charrière, followed by Anne Marie Maes’s closing performance of Sensorial Skins, harvesting the second skin. Artists Nicolas Faubert and Hideyuki Ishibashi will then be in conversation about their work and artistic practices. Nicolas Faubert presents a live performance exploring the relationship between movement, drawing and mark-making. Using a large plexiglass surface and an abrasive costume, the artist creates traces directly through bodily action, revealing the physical process behind a series of works featured in the exhibition. The evening continues with DJ sets by Sylvia and Antoine Grenez, alongside drinks and informal conversations. Free entrance. One complimentary drink per visitor.
