Un concert de chefs-d’œuvre anciens et modernes pour chœur et orgue, de Bach et Haendel à Putkin et Hagenberg, dans le cadre magnifique de la cathédrale A concert of ancient and modern masterpieces for choir and organ, from Bach and Handel to Putkin and Hagenberg, in the beautiful surroundings of the cathedral Le Chancel Choir chante chaque dimanche lors de l’office de 11 h à la First United Methodist Church de Dallas, au Texas, et interprète chaque année des œuvres majeures avec orchestre. Tous les chanteurs sont bénévoles. The Chancel Choir sings each Sunday for the 11:00 worship service at the First United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas and performs major works with orchestra annually. All of the singers are volunteer. They have toured to England, Scotland, Canada, Austria, the Czech Republic, Italy, France, and Switzerland giving concerts in such hallowed spaces as St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal, St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna, St. Nicholas Church in Old Town Prague, and Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. The Chancel Choir was honored to sing for the national convention of the American Choral Directors Association in 2013. The singers you will hear today are representative of the more than 80 voices in the Chancel Choir.
