Treachery of Images - A surrealist show (Various Voices Brussels 2026)

This show, presented as part of the Various Voices Brussels 2026 festival, will be an opportunity to look beyond appearances and highlight those who remain in the shadows today. Surrealism, a major artistic movement in Belgium, was born of a desire to break with convention by banishing the déjà-vu and questioning it. What do we see, what do we want to show and what is hidden? What is visible and invisible? This show, presented as part of the Various Voices Brussels 2026 festival, will be an opportunity to look beyond appearances and highlight those who remain in the shadows today. It will bring together on stage numerous European LGBTQI+ choirs as well as several Belgian artists.
