Workshop Stained Glass

Besides a lot of knowledge and background information about the craft, you’ll go home proudly and satisfied with a self-made artwork of approximately 20x20cm. Do you want to take your first steps in the craft of stained glass? Studio bxlart organises beginner workshops on a regular basis. During these workshops, you’ll learn the first steps in the magnificent craft of traditional stained glass. You'll learn how prepare your design, to cut glass, to mount your window in lead came and solder it together. Besides a lot of knowledge and background information about the craft, you’ll go home proudly and satisfied with a self-made artwork of approximately 20x20cm. No prior knowledge is required, but being a little bit handy helps. You can choose from several designs. All necessary tools ( glass cutter, grinder, soldering iron,…) and materials (glass, lead, tin, …) are available in the studio. A workshop takes about 4 hours and is conducted for small groups (3 persons). This way, you can enjoy optimal personal guidance in every step of the process. A great idea to do with your friends, but also a great learning experience to do on your own. If possible, you can also join others and meet up with fellow creatives.
